The “Imagine If …” was my thesis on stage and costume design for graduating from the Theatre Faculty of the National School of Fine Arts.  “Imagine If …” was created under the supervision of the professor of kinesiology Stella Michaelidou and the professor of scenography Apostolos Vettas and in collaboration with the students of the department of acting.

It was a performance which combines elements of butoh,  tango, aerial acrobatics and Thriller, of Michael Jackson. The costumes were influenced by the aesthetics of Butoh, dresses that seem to have  moss and leichines sprouted over. The stage was  dominated by white color which breaks with bursts of projected slides  of bright colors. The projections were painted by hand and remind of images of life through a microscope. The wigs of the acrobats, were  inspired by the painting of Salvador Dali , “Women with flowers instead of heads.” Thanks to the acrobat, Stella Medvedeva, for her participation in the trapeze choreography.
